About the job
We are looking for an experienced Business Area Manager to organize and oversee the sales activities of our Ventures Business model. You will assume responsibility for the overall success of the Ventures by supervising sales teams, and ensuring they are attained.
The goal is to ensure our Ventures will meet and exceed expectations of business development and efficiency.
What you will do?
● Take full responsibility for the growth, P&L, and personnel of an independent business unit/brand within the group
● Generating, driving and closing new business opportunities
● Ideating, leading and following through on new product developments
● Relentlessly driving sales and marketing to ensure steady and strong growth
● Reporting directly to the group CEO/BOD
Who we are looking for?
● Bachelor or higher Degree in Business Administration or similar degrees
● Possess a distinct get-the-job-done-mentality with a clear commitment to deliver on set targets
● Leadership experience and a proven track record to motivate and inspire others, despite setbacks
● Excellent problem-solving abilities – able to work independently and be resourceful
● Prior experience (3+ years) from the tech industry, ideally from an online platform or SAAS-business
Nice to have
● Demonstrated track record of rapidly scaling companies, projects or products
● Experience from emerging markets
● Able to face daily failures while constantly reiterating to make things better and win vs. competitors
● You should be an all-rounder willing to roll your sleeves up across all aspects of the business
