All framers share common values, and compassion is one of them. Giving is one of the most meaningful things one can do – not only it benefits the charities themselves, it is also deeply rewarding for you. It strengthens your personal values, gives you a new perspective, teaches humility and makes you appreciate what you have and not take things for granted.
Annual charity events have become a tradition at fram^ now. Last year, framers went to Bamboo Village Orphanage (read more)
This year, Fram visited Tam Binh Childcare Center. This orphanage is currently home for 170 children, aged from just several months to 18 y.o. Among them, over 60 children suffer from Down syndrome and other genetic diseases and disabilities such as blindness.
Framers in Tan Binh Childcare Center
2 weeks prior to the trip, Fram announced accepting internal donations, and was happy to see so many framers show great generosity and willingness to support this important cause by donating money, clothes and toys. All money went to buying basic groceries, and the bus with framers was followed by two trucks with food for the center.
Framers were really happy to meet the children, get to talk to them and even play games! It was heartwarming and extremely touching to see the kids smile and laugh, showing admirable spirit despite all hardships they have to endure in life.
Fram will for sure keep up this tradition of arranging charitable trips and is strongly convinced that giving doesn’t only help others in need, but also infuses our everyday lives with more meaning. Sometimes, a simple act of donating can reinvigorate your life.
