Who we’re looking for
Project Description: A web service for talent solutions, and you will work for the Data Management (DM) team responsible for handling various data-related tasks. The DM team maintains and governs data, providing solutions for processing, integration, and data services. They collaborate with the infrastructure/platform team to deploy AWS services and manage relationships with vendors to maintain managed services.
- Responsible for deploying and maintaining the data platform, in terms of auth of DBMS, data processing or accessing tools, applications and frameworks, such as batch and stream jobs on an ETL framework, metadata management tools, BI tools, AWS resources for hosting those tools, etc.
- Collaborate closely with data platform software engineers and our infrastructure/platform squad that maintains the entire infrastructure.
Qualifications
- More than 5 years of working experience as a SRE/ DevOps Engineer, and it would be a plus if you have experience with data platform;
- Familiar with AWS, especially IAM, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch (rich experience on AWS is a must, GPC or Azure experience is a plus);
- Rich experience in deploying contained applications/services and very familiar with the operations on Kubernetes;
- Rich experience in infra-as-code, familiar with IT automation systems like Scalr, Terraform or its alternatives, proficient in configurations & maintaining CI/CD flows (experience with ArgoCD is a plus);
- Good understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure and can design and maintain/handle the SLA/SLO, HA/DR of services;
- Good knowledge of cloud security, familiarity with SSO (experience with Auth0, AzureAD, Okta, etc), authentication/ authorization mechanisms like SAML/OIDC, and OAuth;
- Experience in deploying, integrating and maintaining data processing and ML frameworks like Airflow, Puppet, Metabase, Databricks, Snowflake, Metaflow, MLflow, etc is a plus.
